24 December 2014
Merry Christmas,
everyone!
It was a tight squeeze
but I just managed to complete my third Teddy from the Christmas 2014
Collection.
A warm welcome please for Sidney!
He likes to be out and about, which is a good thing because he hopes to
spend a lot of time together with his future adoptive father, who works
as a gardener :)

Number 2 in my
latest Christmas Teddies Collection is Andrew.
A contemplative bear
and clearly an artist at heart, he intends to travel a lot.
His first
destination will definitely be France, where he will soon join his
adoptive family.

With Christmas just
round the corner, I have finally started making Teddies again!
The first in my
Christmas 2014 Collection, just finished today, is James,
a bear of many talents who always finds exciting things to do.
What is special about James is that the cotton inserts in his ears and
on his paws are all of
different patterns and colours - one for each member of his future
adoptive family!

As you may have gathered from the fact that
there have been no updates on this website for months, I have not made
any new Teddies since February.
So when I was invited to take part in a Christmas craft fair in the
lovely village of Checkendon in South Oxfordshire, just a few miles
from our home, I took with me all sorts of other things I had made -
ear warmers, caps, faux fur hats, alpaca wool handbags and waistcoats,
some crocheted Funny Bunnies - and only a few dry-felted bears.
The fair may not have been the greatest of successes in terms of sales
but I had wonderful time and made friends with some extremely nice and
interesting people. Looking forward to Easter now! |

Now that I have got
going again, it did not take me long to make another Teddy.
Please meet Randolph
the polite polar bear (definitely not a reindeer :)
31 January 2014
After a long pause, I
can introduce another new Teddy. He was made to order as a birthday
present.
His name is Roger and
he fancies himself as a sailor :)
