Another three Teddies were
recently discharged from
Sasha’s
Teddy Bear
Hospital,
and were therefore able to celebrate Christmas with their families!
These included a much admired French bear known as Madame Martin, a
nice middle-aged Koala, and adorable Little Ted.

Among the Teddy Bears
successfully treated at Sasha’s
Teddy Bear
Hospital
in the last month were Albert, who was suffering from rather large
holes and loss of sense of smell and taste (on account of no longer
having a nose and a mouth); young Rose, who accidentally lost an eye;
93-year-old Ted, who required major facial and abdominal surgey, and a
new voice; and a certain Winnie the Pooh, who had been badly
in
need of some stuffing and a little nose job)) You can see how happy he
looked once his treatment was over!

I suppose I have to consider
renaming Sasha’s
Teddy Bear
Hospital
to reflect the fact that an ever growing number of my patients - such
as Peter, Doggy and Micky below - happen to be of a canine disposition.
To be fair, over the years I have also had some felines, the latest
being the inimitable Matt, who now has his whiskers back!
29 November
More Teddies, both traditional
and modern, have been discharged from Sasha’s
Teddy Bear
Hospital
in the past two weeks. This time, the injuries I treated included a
missing nose, lost stuffing, torn limbs, and, in the case of a bear
called Dodo, even accidental decapitation!

As always, I was very happy to
take part in the
Goring Christmas Craft Fair, which was held at the Goring Village Hall
this weekend: meeting old friends and making new friends too, buying
some nice Christmas presents, and of course presenting some new Teddies
that I had made in the last few weeks.
The
fair was a big success - quite a few of my Teddies were adopted,
finding nice new homes where I am sure they will bring plenty of joy to
their adoptive families!
12 November
There has been an surprisingly
large proportion of dogs among the patients treated at Sasha’s
Teddy Bear
Hospital
over the past couple of months. Of those pictured below, two were
called Bruno (I'll let you guess which two), one was Todd, and one was
not called anything in particular but was most unusual, as he had
wheels!
11 November
Despite the abundance of dogs
amongst my recent patients, the majority of creatures coming for
treatment at Sasha’s
Teddy Bear
Hospital
are still Teddy Bears - with an occasional Teddy Panda too))
Some
of those discharged in the last few weeks had felt distinctly flat when
they arrived - but full of life (and stuffing) again by the time they
were ready to leave.
10 November 2022
Of all the
patients ever admitted to my Hospital, none travelled as
far as Mr. Edward B. Jones. He came literally from the other side of
the globe - from Perth, Australia!
Mr.
Jones was in a stable but critical condition when he arrived, with half
his head missing. He had also lost both eyes, though one had been
recovered.
Life-saving surgery
took a while, but Edward responded well to my treatment, and was
eventually pronounced fully recovered. He then made a long journey back
home and was finally reunited with his family today
Says his owner: "I am most impressed as to what
you have done to Edward, he looks so good. I wished I had heard of you
a long time ago."
