Gerald is an original artist's Teddy Bear
hand made by me, Sasha Kleshcheva, in 2010.

He is made of chequered cotton with wool felt inserts.

He has English glass eyes, a hand-stitched nose,
and hand-stitched mouth and claws.

Gerald the intrepid explorer

Gerald is 5⅜ (13.5 cm) tall
and fully 5-way jointed,
with cotter-pin joints
⅜ in his neck, arms and legs.

He is filled with polyfill.

Gerald is an adventurous bear.

He describes himself as an intrepid explorer of exotic places

(whatever it means).

Yet wherever he goes, he takes care to keep his favourite white scarf immaculately clean.

He is a proud owner of a label
with Sasha's Bears logo,
and a Teddy-Bear Passport.
