Sasha's Large Bears: Edna

A Bear family

Edna was made for the Oxfam shop in Caversham, Berks.

Edna is an original artists's Teddy Bear
hand made by me, Sasha Kleshcheva , in 2010.

She is made of a variety of synthetic and cotton fabrics.

Edna's head

She has eyes made of large buttons,

and hand-stitched linen-thread nose, mouth and claws.

Edna

Edna is 27½" (70 cm) tall

and fully 5-way jointed,
with cotter-pin joints
in her neck, arms and legs.

She is filled with polyfill.

Edna wears a

delicate pink frilled collar.

Judging by her odd surname
(de Krower)
Edna may well be Dutch
or even Afrikaner.

What is certain is that she
does not speak much English.

She is a proud owner
of a Teddy-Bear passport.

Edna is a one-off extra large bear made exclusively for charity.
