Bartholomew is an original artist Teddy Bear
hand made by me, Sasha Kleshcheva, back in 2009.

He is made of chequered cotton with wool felt inserts.

He has black glass bead eyes, a hand-stitched nose,
and hand-stitched mouth and claws.

Bartholomew knows very well
that he is different
but tries to be nonchalant about it.

He has got himself quite a wardrobe:
soft suede trousers,
a knitted scarf,
and a denim cap,
which he wears at a jaunty angle.

Bartholomew is 10" (25 cm) tall
and fully 5-way jointed,
with cotter-pin joints
in his neck, arms and legs.

He is filled with polyfill.

He is a proud owner of a label
with Sasha's Bears logo,
and a Teddy-Bear Passport.

Bartholomew was adopted at the Spring Craft and Teddy Bear Fair in Caterham.
